Ghada Yaiche is a British Tunisian Artist, Architect and Professor of Architecture. She was born in Tunis in 1979. She currently lives and works in Dubai having moved from London and Paris where she worked for 10 years mainly as an architect, painter and photographer. She is now an assistant professor of Architecture at the American University in Dubai.
Her interest in art is rooted in her childhood. In 2004, she graduated as an architect and was granted a scholarship and artist residency at the Cite Internationale des Arts de Paris between September 2004 and December 2005. During this time she participated in some collective exhibitions as well as open studios. In 2006, she moved to London where she worked for 7 years in some of the most renowned architectural offices like Foster and Partners. Since moving to Dubai in 2013, she has mainly dedicated herself to teaching Architecture at the American University in Dubai and producing art work. She has recently collaborated with the Alserkal team, Techarc and the American University for a student led project aiming to revamp Alserkal Avenue: 101 Ideas to reinvent Alserkal.
